1. Who we are

JNT Installations is an owner-run security installation company based in Gauteng, South Africa. We install alarm systems, CCTV, electric fencing, access control, gate and garage automation, and custom gate weaving. For anything relating to your personal information, contact the owner, who acts as our information officer, at info@jntinstallations.com or 081 530 7512.

2. What we collect

This website only collects the information you choose to give us through the contact form: your name, phone number, suburb, the service you're interested in, and your message. Our hosting provider also keeps basic server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

3. Why we collect it

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver the service you've asked about. Nothing else.

4. Legal basis

By submitting the contact form you consent to us processing your details to handle your enquiry. We also have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries sent to us.

5. Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, and delivered to our email at info@jntinstallations.com, which runs on Google Workspace. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy. We never sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else.

6. Cross-border transfers

Netlify and Google process data on servers outside South Africa. Both apply recognised international safeguards for protecting personal information.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that comes from it. After that, they're deleted.

8. Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you can ask us at any time to:

• show you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it; or
• stop processing it.

Just email info@jntinstallations.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
